thingiverse
A unique adaptation of flowalistik's iconic low-poly bulbasaur takes shape, transforming it into an essential household item. Though traditional planters with similar designs exist, a desire for functionality while preserving the characteristic low-poly aesthetic prevails. To meet this challenge, a functional and visually appealing planter emerges. Design Elements The bottom of this modern deep bulba-planter features a purposeful sloped drainage hole, strategically positioned to efficiently release excess water. By cleverly lifting the rear of the original design, the internal volume is maximized without compromising the structural integrity of the overall piece. Printer Specifications Printer: A sturdy Rostock MAX model from SeeMeCNC brings precision and reliability to every print. Layer Height: For an optimal finish, low settings of .3mm are preferred for this intricate design. Infill Percentage: To achieve a suitable balance between density and weight, 10% infill is used. Number of Shells: Printing with 2 shells enhances durability and appearance. Instructions With or without the added support of rafts, the bulba-planter requires minimal assistance. The resin should be fine for most prints. A layer height of low .3mm provides excellent results when combined with 10% infill and 2 shells.
