Bulbasaur Planter - Large Diameter Hole
thingiverse
I just modified Low-Poly Bulbasaur by FLOWALISTIK to cut cone and cylinder shaped holes. I added a second version with a 4mm drainage hole. The idea to adapt this model for use as a planter came from Hitsman. In my version, the angles and diameters of the holes were adjusted so that a slightly larger pot fits comfortably without requiring a physically larger print. This results in using slightly less material and printing a bit faster. The holes are designed to remove two sharp 'horn' protrusions from the back. This model does not require resizing, but it can be done if needed. By default, it provides a 50mm+ diameter hole for the plant pot and should print in under 8 hours. Printing without supports is possible, but it's recommended to use slow speeds - 30mm/s - to handle overhangs on the legs, neck, and back. Two versions are included: one with a drainage hole and one without - this way you can choose whether to place it directly on your table or risk having it leak out.
