Buko-Spool 3
thingiverse
This Buko-Spool update features changes from its predecessor. It now rests on a Bukobot, similar to before, but utilizes cost-effective R6-2RC bearings, available on both eBay and Amazon. The rod is 5/16 inch (3/8 unavailable at Home Depot), 13 cm in length. Elastics secure the two halves together, with spool weight maintaining stability. Filament delivery encounters zero resistance! Enjoy and happy printing! Mac # Instruction: Another update from Buko-Spool saga. Now using a brass rod instead of steel. It's more expensive but smoother for filament to travel through. The bearings are the same R6-2RC. I also added some O-rings for extra smoothness and to keep out dust. Still held together by elastics and spool weight. Cheers! Mac ### Response: In the latest Buko-Spool update, a brass rod replaces steel, despite increased cost. This material upgrade enhances filament travel smoothness. R6-2RC bearings remain consistent, while O-rings are added for enhanced smoothness and dust prevention. Spool weight and elastics hold the structure in place. Happy printing! Mac
