The mount seamlessly replaces the Deezemaker Bukito stock acrylic Y-Axis motor mount, requiring zero modifications using existing parts from the manufacturer. This design fits perfectly within the Open Build V-Slot rail without any lateral movement at all. I engineered this to be significantly stronger and provide added protection to the Synchromesh gear and cable by incorporating side impact protection against rough handling or travel. UPDATE: September 25, 2014 - To enhance the overall robustness of the shield and round off its sharp edges, I have uploaded a V2 STL file. However, it is currently untested as I will be unavailable to print and verify it for another couple of weeks. If you decide to use this updated version and encounter no issues, kindly let me know so that I can make the necessary adjustments permanently.
