The standard knobs on a Flashforge Creator are difficult to turn without causing the build plate to move up and down. Replacing these with easier-to-turn knobs simplifies leveling the build plate. I printed custom knobs in PLA using makerware settings, with support for maintaining the level. After drilling out the middle hole with a 3.5mm bit, I softened the plastic using a gas stove to install the nuts without glue, ensuring a secure grip.
