The military airbase of Saceruela, situated in Ciudad Real, was constructed during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) by the Republican Forces to secure aerial protection for the Extremadura Front. This airbase stands out as one of the most vital bases in the province of Ciudad Real. The 3D model reveals two structures built to accommodate personnel at the airbase and repair damaged aircraft. Beneath the surface lies a massive underground bunker, intended to serve as a safe haven in case of an enemy aviation attack. This bunker was engineered to withstand bomb impacts weighing up to 100 kilograms, and its two entrances, visible in the 3D model, were strategically placed adjacent to the two buildings on the surface to enable swift evacuation by those inside.
