This 3D model was originally designed using Sketchup 8 before being converted to every other 3D format imaginable. Native file type is .skp while 3ds Max scenes are formatted in version 2016 of the program, rendered with Vray 3.00, to say nothing of this project's fascinating origin story - a collaborative effort to restore an old derelict building courtesy of ThunderCarpet2's design brief, and I had my work cut out for me to transform the entire thing. With all eyes on the renovation task at hand, I started by scrapping everything from scratch before putting it back together in a fresh new way that left no stone unturned. The renovation has created space on the first floor of the building which now functions as a bustling coffee/pastry shop where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills every corner. As one enters via elevator and proceeds up to the residential quarters above, each 2-bedroom apartment stands proud within a vibrant artistic space inspired by street murals adding life to this derelict structure, creating community in each and every one of them! Adding to that delightful feel are some very nostalgic store fronts made to perfectly mirror turn of the century charm all while injecting mid-century style which houses quaint retail stores that add beauty along its streetsides. The downtown scene features six main stores. They're placed side by side and left to right: A cozy coffee shop is flanked on its either end by a barber shop with old-fashioned wooden seats where one could get a perfectly done shave or hair cut, next comes an available space up for rent with big signage indicating so and the fourth structure is an antique Second Hand Department store housing an abundance of quirky second hand finds perfect to add some zest to one's abode. On top of all this artistic endeavour, it even got better: As seen in the coffee shop a few kind contributors contributed - the chair designer of the said seats added them free of cost using his 3D modelling prowess, a close friend helped bring forth the look and functionality of cash counters & shelves with Cordelle and he was instrumental in bringing forth functional details that add charm. Lastly we had other artists helping along, whose specific works unfortunately remain obscure for some reason though as it seems to slip off memory - hopefully, you understand this scenario's overall creative intent and enjoy! As the heart beats on every town stands at its central city center district. For those confused about geography just please accept apologies for an honest geographical blunder and just look forward towards adding your touch, enjoy!
