Building Plates
thingiverse
Building Plates Here are 28 plates, each measuring 150mm x 150mm Square. They range from 0.3mm to 3.0mm in thickness, incrementing by 0.1mm. Print these plates with a 90-degree extruder layer line configuration, which produces a cleaner and more uniform flex than the standard 45-degree setup. These versatile building plates have been incredibly handy for me - I've lost count of how many times I've used them to fix or build various items, from flexible covers for electronics boards to skinning an aerodynamic foil to shimming a wobbly chair. They're also useful for applying putty and glue, dust covers, cutting, and heating to form any desired shape. You'll only need a few different thicknesses on hand, but I've included the full range for model makers. The possibilities are endless - it's limited only by your imagination. A SketchUp file is provided, which allows you to manually input dimensions to ensure precise thickness. Mindless.
