This versatile building block set is specifically designed for creating modern city scenes that feature streets, buildings, and rapid transit systems. While freeways and railroads are not part of this kit yet, it does include everything needed to build entire neighborhoods. The modules and examples in this comprehensive kit were originally created using SketchUp 8 and then converted to Blender 2.83 for rendering and file format conversion. Two essential file formats are included: FBX and OBJ. The converted files retain the original material settings, and Figures 1-12 showcase the rendered appearances of the models in this kit. Each model is set with an orientation of "Y forward and Z up." There are five files in each format, with brief descriptions as follows: Kit01_Modules_Transportation: These modules allow users to construct street systems and rapid transit systems. (Figure 1) Kit01_Modules_Buildings: Sample buildings that can be inserted into spaces between streets for a more realistic cityscape. (Figure 2) Kit01_Example01: A hierarchical street system composed of the modules in this kit, measuring 1000m*1000m from centerline to centerline of major streets. (Figure 8) Kit01_Example02: Another example of street systems, measuring 750m*750m from centerline to centerline of major streets. (Figure 9) Kit01_Example03: An example of city blocks created by using the model in Kit01_Example02 and adding sample buildings from Kit01_Modules_Buildings. (Figure 12) The modules are color-coded for easy identification, allowing users to attach contact surfaces to matching colors or white surfaces. Regular assembly steps include copying, pasting, rotating, and moving the modules. If a left-hand-traffic street system is desired, mirroring some of the modules may be necessary. Additional images were rendered using the model in Kit01_Example03 with extra material settings, but these settings are not included in this kit and can be seen in Figures 13-21.
