<p>Just added some text to the design for two reasons...</p> <ol> <li><p>Just nice to have a mental reminder of what you are about to grab hold of is a hazard and to take appropriate mitigations to reduce risk of injury.</p> </li> <li><p>The text adds a little extra grip, acting like a knurling effect.</p> </li> </ol> <p>I really like this basic design from "sideburn". I use this tool on a regular basis with prints when I don't want to wait for the bed to cool down and release the print. Since I print nearly everything with a "brim", I peal up the brim with a fingernail, then use this tool as a sort of pry bar. The thin, sharp blade, gets low under the part, snags well, and I use the lever action built in by the handle edge offset from the blade to pry the part away at a corner. Works flawlessly for this purpose. Nice pivot point to maximize effectiveness as a pry tool.</p> <p><strong>Print on it's side so it's "tall" so it's least likely to de laminate under pry load.</strong>Use CA glue, or other effective means, to secure the standard utility blade into the pocket.</p> <p>**If the blade ever gets dull or damaged, just cover the sharp edge with appropriate tape and toss it out.
