I'm feeling quite under the weather today. I woke up early this morning to a pounding headache and a sore throat that feels like it's on fire. I tried to drink some water to soothe my dry mouth, but even the taste of the cool liquid couldn't calm down my churning stomach. Every time I try to swallow, it feels like there's a brick stuck in my esophagus, refusing to budge. The only thing that seems to be working is my overactive imagination, which is conjuring up all sorts of worst-case scenarios about what might be causing this awful feeling. I'm starting to feel like I've been run over by a truck and left for dead in the middle of nowhere.
