Buick Wildcat Concept

The 1954 Buick Wildcat II concept is considered one of GM's most stunning show cars, embodying Buick's combination of luxury and performance. The new Buick Wildcat aims to recapture this essence with modern touches and compete in the European prestige segment while delivering a unique American driving experience. A Buick-specific supercharged V8, open fenders, floating headlights, and a "bathtub" bodyside profile are some of the car's standout features. The low 35-inch high cowl is the only shared dimension between the original '54 car and this new design. Buick could use this halo car to redefine its performance image as an oxymoronic blend of brute force and elegance, potentially attracting a younger audience. Exterior CADs will be available in March 2014, and it's essential to note that this concept is not associated with General Motors but rather a third-party independent project.
