Buick Remote Holder
thingiverse
I designed this holder for my grandpop's old Buick Century remote from 2004. It should also work with other remotes from that time, like those used in some Buicks and GM cars. The plastic around the keyring hole is thin and prone to breaking, but you can use this holder to attach a broken remote to a keychain again. This model isn't perfect (I'm not exactly an expert at CAD), but it gets the job done pretty well. Adding some glue will keep the remote snug in place, but it should stay put without it too. You can also scale down the model by a few mm for a tighter fit. I printed this on my Replicator 2 with PLA filament. I've included .STL files that need to be scaled up before printing, as my CAD program messes up the scaling. The outer dimensions are roughly 48mm x 68.7mm, and there are two similar parts - one wraps around the remote more than the other.
