Bugsy Jr, Micro Quadcopter, Baby 250
thingiverse
Bugsy Jr. was designed to stand out as an adorable companion to a typical 250 quad, but it turns out he is a genuine quad in his own right! Keep in mind that this little guy is fragile. The main plates are only 1mm thick and can easily crack if the material used isn't suitable. On the bright side, it's quick to print more of him. Currently, I get around 5 minutes of flight time when flying easy with Bugsy Jr. **To reduce vibration/noise issues, print using a rigid filament, particularly for the arms.** *Print List:* + Main Plate (2) + Arm (4) + Top Plate (1) + MotorSpacer(4) (TPU) + BatteryStrap(2) (TPU) - Narrow straps fit bottom battery mount slots as well as top + Camera Mount(2) (TPU) **Print the mount twice, one time Mirrored** *Parts List(as Pictured):* + 0703 10000kv Motors (4) + Betaflight F3 Micro 6A 2S 4-In-1 Brushless ESC OSD Flight Controller Micro Cube + XT30 Battery cable + Makerfire 350mAh 60C 2S 7.4V Lipo + Props: 55mm, 60mm *should* fit, haven't tried yet *Hardware:* + M2 Nylon assortment, designed for 15mm standoffs between top and main plate *History:* + 12/06/17 - Fixed a misplaced mounting hole in the top plate + 12/02/17 - Further updated arms with nubs on the end to protect motors and re-oriented arm screw holes to help prevent them from getting ripped out in a forward collision. + 11/30/17 - Stronger arms with much less vibration, modified main plate for passing wiring between plates, replaced original top plate with notched plate, and modified holes for AIO camera. + 11/26/17 - Updated screw hole sizes on everything to reduce slop in arms and body, use a 2mm or 5/64 bit to clean up holes as necessary, added Narrow Battery straps and strap holes to main frame for bottom mounted battery. + 11/25/17 - Added the camera mount + 11/25/17 - Added a top plate with a slight front notch for FPV view + 11/25/17 - Added Feet!
