Bugs Nightmare
thingiverse
The ultimate bug trap on Thingiverse. This is an ongoing project where I've just completed the design and am eager to see it come to life with some printing action! If someone's keen to give it a try, please go ahead and share your results. You can find all the necessary details below. To bring this masterpiece together, you'll need: * 4 M4x40+ bolts * 12 M5 UV or Blue LED lights * 4 x 180-ohm resistors * A 110x110x25mm fan (220v preferred) * A 220-to-12-volt transformer * Some glue to hold everything in place Here's the printing plan: Print all parts at once, except for the legs, which need to be printed four times. The LED_UV_Lamp.stl file should be printed with transparent filament, while the fat_top_plate needs to be printed with white or glow-in-the-dark white filament. The rest of the parts can be printed with any material. Updates will follow as this project evolves! Cheers, Updates: October 10, 2017: I've replaced Electronic_Housing_side with a newer version due to its thin design causing it to spring back after printing. October 11, 2017: I've successfully printed the LED_UV_Lamp. To achieve the best results, print the first 6mm of the lamp using three or four shells and 50% infill or more. Then, use two shells and 10% infill for the rest. Be cautious when removing the part from the heatbed, as those pins are easy to break off.
