This is a work of 3D-2D art, bringing to life the beloved action figure of Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes. We drew inspiration from various online images of Bugs, combining them into our own unique creation that met all the requirements and showcased our expertise with Solidworks. Overview and Background Project Requirements: * You and your partner must develop a solid plan for your stick figure project. * Each person should draw a detailed front view of their design on paper. * One person's drawing will include all dimensions on the x-y plane, while the other person's sketch will detail all dimensions along the z-axis (i.e. extrusion heights). * A bulleted/numbered list outlining the order in which you will create your model should be maintained and updated as you work through completing your design. * This plan must be approved before starting to make the figure in Solidworks. * Once you begin creating models, you and your partner must work together at the same pace. You should not move on to the next step of your plan until both partners have checked in and are ready to proceed to the next step. * Each person should submit their completed Solidworks file as well as a .stl file at the end of the project. Lesson Plan and Activity Problem Statement: With a partner, you will design a "2D" placard using Solidworks. You and your partner will have the same design that meets all the constraints below, and each of you will use Solidworks to create your own design. Constraints: * The design should have a flat back with details on the front side. * It must fit inside a box that is 10 cm x 10 cm when lying flat. * It should not be more than 1 cm thick. * It should be as detailed as possible. * Details will be made using sketches that are extruded to different heights. * No error messages should appear during the design process. * Do not extrude contours - each feature should have its own sketch. * The part should be centered about the origin. * Efficient use of construction lines should be demonstrated. * Efficient use of automatic and manual relations should be demonstrated. * Efficient use of Smart Dimensions should be demonstrated. * Efficient use of mirroring should be demonstrated. * Efficient use of linear or circular patterns should be demonstrated.
