This thing is an even simpler setup compared to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:771004. Gear wheels are attached directly to a frame. For the miniature geared dc motor, a 9 volt battery is secured with a tie wrap or double-sided adhesive foam tape as shown in https://youtu.be/oOeriEbkMsY. You may need to rotate the body back into its normal position before printing. Trimming the shaft openings in the frame after printing with a 4 mm drill is a good idea. Gently drive square shafts into one of the leg wheels with a light hammer, applying only gentle force. If a shaft breaks, remove it using an M3 bolt on the other side of the shaft opening and use a hammer to carefully remove the broken part. When installing wheels on the opposite side, make sure leg bolts are facing in opposite directions. Dependent on printer tolerances, you may need to remove some material from the shaft ends using sandpaper until they fit smoothly into position with reasonable friction. Use a rotary tool to rotate the shaft and clamp sandpaper to the rotating end, applying gentle pressure with your fingers. Secure legs with lock nuts. The on/off switch is inserted into the tail. If your buggy walks backwards, simply reverse the motor wires. Applying a drop of oil to moving parts reduces friction. Two M3x50 bolts secure the shell in place and printed spacers separate it from the frame.
