Bugatti Type 41
sketchfab
Handmade by Ettore Bugatti, the Type 41 is said to have been born out of his offense over comments made by an English lady who compared his cars unfavorably to those of Rolls-Royce. The prototype boasted a nearly 15-liter engine. Production models, with their reduced 150 mm stroke shrunk to 130 mm, had a displacement of 12.7 liters. A road test conducted in 1926 by WF Bradley at the behest of Ettore Bugatti for Autocar magazine showcased how the exquisite chassis construction allowed for exceptional handling and balance at high speeds, similar to those found in smaller, sportier Bugatti models, despite the car's weight and size.
