Bug antenna headband, customizable
thingiverse
This is a basic bug antennae headband that I crafted for our four-year-old to go along with her butterfly wings. Print in ABS for flexibility, then attach the antennae into their holders on the headband (ABS glue works best). You may need to adjust the holder tolerance. No supports are required. This design is highly customizable: size, aspect ratio, tooth size on the headband, stalk length, rounded tip size, and whether the stalk tips are flat or ball-shaped (if ball-shaped, you'll have to glue two halves together unless you want slightly larger balls). The code uses my Bezier library. Print Settings: Printer: XYZ DaVinci 1.0a with Repetier Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.30 Infill: 20%
