I required snap-on buffer stops for my model railway that fit Piko Glais-A H0 tracks. Factory-made buffers by Piko work fine but are too pricey when you need ten of them at once, so I created my own. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i2 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 40% Post-Printing After printing, you get a red box from the second picture. To achieve what I got, you must add buffers, paint it, and apply ballast. Buffers - I utilized small nails with a 3mm diameter head and a 1.5mm diameter shaft that I trimmed down to size and glued into pre-printed holes. I don't trust my printer when it comes to hole diameters, so I made those holes more as marks where to drill than actual holes for assembly. Paint - I used Castorama branded black matte spray paint, but I think any solvent-based spray paint or Humbrol enamel will do. It's best to paint it after buffer assembly but before adding ballast. Ballast - railway modeler's ballast glued with wood glue diluted with water 1:3 or more - the same as for ballasting track.
