Buffed n Braced Einsy Door - Use with stock MK3s Einsy Base
thingiverse
This is a reinforced, braced Einsy door mod that stiffens the Z axis to the Y axis. Use your stock Einsy base with this mod to prevent the Z axis from wiggling and improve your prints. I kept it simple and provided instructions below. It takes only a few hours to print, and it works exactly as intended, significantly reducing the wobble. The door is modified for added strength and thickness around the perimeter, with hinges removed and now attaches directly to the Z and Y frames using a small frame insert. You don't need to disconnect any cables from your Einsy case. You'll need: - Two M3 12mm screws (M3 10mm will work too) - Two M3 hex nuts Check out my side-mounted MK3 LCD mod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3483560 Now you can securely mount a Logitech or any camera with a screw mount to the front frame, as well as place your Pi there for Octolapse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3518161 My cable clip keeps your LCD cables tidy: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3485143 My feet mod reduces all vibration and noise by 95%, possibly improving prints: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3496474 A Fusion 360 file is included for remixing.
