Budgie (Parakeet) Bath, Cage-side

A simple shallow bath with built-in perch designed to hang on to the wire side of a bird cage. Probably too small for birds bigger than budgies (parakeets). Most corners and edges are rounded to discourage chewing and make cleaning easier. I don't yet know how my birds will like it; they regard all new items as intruders to be feared and hated, but I will update the description if they take a shine to it. 1.1 I have lowered the perch slightly in the latest version to be more flush with the rim. 1.2 I added a version with mounting holes for zip- or twist-ties, since the hooks might not work with some cage bars/wire (I will need to revisit those). Always make sure you are using plastic that won't leach toxic stuff into the water and is safe for your birds, especially if they like to chew the edges of toys!
