Simple Bird Feeder for Budgies: A Practical Solution for Easy Seed Refilling. This feeder is designed specifically for budgies and other birds with non-vertical cages, making it easy to attach from the outside. The base width can be adjusted to fit different cage sizes, but remember that the total width will be slightly larger due to the angled extrusion. Measure your cage carefully before printing to ensure a perfect fit. If your bird tends to throw seeds to the bottom of the cage, this feeder may not be the best choice. However, if your bird eats calmly, you'll find it much easier to change and refill the seed. You can also use this feeder for bird sand with great results. The length between the two wires of your cage may vary depending on the manufacturer, so be sure to check the specifications before printing. The pictures show a cage with approximately 13mm difference between the two wires, which is a good reference point. If you have a smaller or larger cage, I can modify the design to fit your needs. Note that the version shown in the pictures has a slightly forward bottom hole to make it easier to attach. However, this creates a slope towards the bottom of the cage, which may not be necessary. The revised design aligns the top and bottom holes for better performance. If you prefer the original design or find the new one doesn't fit easily, feel free to contact me.
