This object was created with Tinkercad https://www.tinkercad.com/things/7wLXvqPQ0FV Ever since I watched the Buddy Games for the first time when I was incredibly young, it has always been my burning desire to enter the Buddy Games Aircraft Race. I used to pretend that I was soaring through the sky, flying faster than all the other racers, flying through that red hoop that is the finish line, and becoming the Buddy of the Year. If I could have one wish, it would be to enter the Aircraft Race. And today, that dream has finally come true. “I can’t believe it!” I exclaimed to my best friend Oliver the Alien. I pushed off the ground with my powerful bunny legs and twirled in mid-air. “Me neither,” he replied, grinning from ear to ear. “Though the chances of either of us winning are extremely low, it will be an incredible experience.” “Don’t say that,” I told him. “If we try our absolute best, I know we can win!” “But only one of us can win,” Oliver said. I nodded, though I wished both of us could win and become the Buddy of the Year. We walked to a booth with a sign that read “Aircraft Race Competitor Sign-In.” A smiling three-eyed alien greeted us. “Hello there!” the alien beamed. “Are you here to compete in the Buddy Games Aircraft Race?” “Yes, we are,” I said confidently. “May I have your names please?” The alien pulled out a clipboard and began to write. “I’m Emmalyn,” I said proudly. “And I’m Oliver,” he replied with a smile. The alien finished writing on the clipboard and handed it back to us. “Alright, you two are all set. Good luck in the competition!” We walked away from the booth, feeling excited and nervous at the same time. We had finally made it to the Buddy Games Aircraft Race! I couldn't wait to see what the competition would be like. As we walked towards the starting line, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. This was it – our chance to become the Buddy of the Year! The starting gun went off and we were off, racing through the sky with our aircraft. I pushed hard on the lever in my right hand and my aircraft shot forward, soaring past buildings and trees. I looked over at Oliver and saw that he was right behind me. We were neck and neck, both of us determined to win! As we entered the final lap, I could see the finish line ahead of me. I pushed harder with all my might, feeling the wind rushing past my face. And then, suddenly, a little blue aircraft darted in front of me, passing through the finish line first! I was shocked and stunned, but I couldn't help but feel proud of myself for making it this far. I landed my aircraft and walked over to congratulate the winner. As I approached her, she turned towards me with a huge smile on her face. “Congratulations!” I exclaimed. “You did an amazing job!” She beamed with pride, thanking me for my congratulations. I felt happy for her, even though I didn't win myself. As we walked away from the finish line, Oliver came up to me and gave me a big hug. “You did great, Emmalyn,” he said. “I'm so proud of you!” I hugged him back, feeling grateful for my friend's support. We had both given it our all and come out on top – even if we didn't win the competition. As we walked away from the Buddy Games Aircraft Race, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. We may not have won the competition, but we had fun and made some amazing memories along the way. And that's what mattered most.
