The Buddha Shakyamuni or Akshobhya, a figure from the East, is featured in a 11th to 12th century Tibetan sculpture. Made of gilt copper and standing at 58 cm high, it belongs to the classification of sculptures. Obtained via purchase through the Rogers Fund and Florence and Herbert Irving Gift in 1995, its accession number is 1995.106. Jason Bakutis captured this piece at the Metropolitan Museum of Art - New York during the Met MakerBot Hackathon in June 2012.
