I have made lithophanes for years and am looking forward to making bas reliefs without any hassle. Creating Blender scripts is something I know, but it's still too complicated for me right now. Some artists create beautiful black and white depth maps that make nice reliefs when converted into a lithophane. To further edit the mesh, I've used tools like MeshMixer and VisCAM.
