This pull chain knob is designed specifically for standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain use, but it will also work seamlessly with smaller chains when paired with a #6 metal connector. No supports are required for this version of the print. To assemble, simply feed the chain through the top and attach a standard #6 connector to secure it in place. If using a ball chain and metal connector, you can easily create a loop by attaching one end of the connector to a keyring and hooking up the other end. If you don't have a metal connector handy, you can print the included BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file instead. Please note that printing it in PLA may result in a tight fit; try laying the chain on a hard surface and positioning the connector over the last ball before gently pushing down to secure it in place. Alternatively, you can also use string with a large knot tied in the end as a viable option. When printing this pull chain knob, I recommend using 10% infill for general purposes. However, if you plan to use it on a ceiling fan, consider increasing the infill percentage for added weight and stability.
