Buddha Inside reel spool holder
thingiverse
A sage once declared, "I am the void at the heart of the wheel." After reflecting on these profound words, I crafted the interior hole spool holder. Unlike many filament holders that rely on the outer rim and consume desk space, this innovative design fits snugly inside the spool. It securely rests on the square peg of the Malyan/Mono printer and is supported by two fidget spinner bearings or skateboard bearings with an 8mm bore, resulting in a remarkably smooth and gentle process for unwinding your filament. This clever creation is a fantastic addition to enable the printing of even more spool holders. It can be easily printed in two components to avoid overhanging parts and is held firmly together by some 4mm studding. I find that securing the studding with 4mm nuts produces the best results, as they fit perfectly in place.
