Buddha II. Optical Illusion Mould Stand

Buddha II. Optical Illusion Mould Stand

The creator was not a mold for reproducing the essence of Buddha himself, but rather a magnificent work of art. It stands like an enigma that can be perceived in multiple dimensions at once (3D + 4D, where movement is palpable). Source: The Healer Buddha statue, preserved and on display at the British Museum in London through Scan the World. You may climb around this figurine as much as you want, but what catches your eye isn't an ordinary view of the Buddha. It looks as if it's in front of you. However, this work is a sculpture created with a mold - the opposite is true; May this object's purpose be accomplished with absolute certainty and effectiveness as imparted by master craftsmen:) The actual embodiment of Buddha can be found within oneself. This figure's strange appearance raises intriguing questions: What if the artist portrayed the Buddha sitting on the other side? Yet, in reality, it's a deliberate optical illusion. Whenever this sculpture is printed, from any angle you observe it, you'll find that Buddha seems to be seated on the opposite side. To demonstrate, try viewing this artwork: while standing beneath it, you'd see Buddha sitting below you; whereas standing over it or far away, it appears as though he's above.
