The human model comes in two versions. One version is stored in an OBJ file, which has been optimized for performance and wireframes. These are the streamlined parts of the model that really get the job done quickly and efficiently. The other format is an STL file, and this is what the 3D printing starts with - a raw, unprocessed source material. This source material needs to be fed into a printer before anything can be produced, resulting in a final physical output that has been made real through additive manufacturing processes.
