To mechanically attach an E3Dv6 hot end in place of your standard Budaschnozzle hot end for a Lulzbot TAZ printer, follow these steps. [Now you can print with 1.75mm filament!] Note: If you upgrade your TAZ to handle the Hexagon extruder (namely, adding a fan cable and updating the firmware), you will have all the necessary wires. Additionally, both the Hexagon and the E3Dv6 use the same thermistor. This allows me to easily switch between the Hexagon and the E3Dv6 by simply plugging and unplugging, adjusting slicer profiles, and of course recalibrating z-height home tuning.
