I've designed a dual-head mount for my Lulzbot Airwolf XL3D 3D printer using SketchUp, based on the drawings from the Lulzbot wiki. Although the exact height may not be accurate, it meets my current requirements. The Rambo board on my printer supports a second extruder head, so I wanted to utilize this feature. I'll share more updates as progress is made, but I posted this design on Thingiverse since I hadn't seen a similar one yet. You may notice the heater block and lower support are different - it allows me to mount two of them closely together, minimizing the impact on build volume. The Airwolf XL3D already has a large 12/8/7-inch build volume, and I hope the final dual-head setup won't be smaller than 11/8/7 inches. I've also designed an initial carriage for the dual head, maintaining the same 12-inch width by narrowing the carriage as it won't carry additional motor weights. I just need to add fan mounts, but I've only printed with ABS so far, so that's not a priority yet. However, when extruding multiple materials like Ninjaflex and ABS, independent cooling options are essential.
