Bud Buddy
thingiverse
Inspired by Ubermeister's Beer Bottle Holder, I tackled the thin neck support issue when printing and remodeled it using Inventor 2014. After multiple attempts, I achieved a robust and sturdy print. Get your BBQs ready for summer and start printing! Note that Autodesk Inventor exports STL files in centimeters instead of millimeters, making the file size ten times smaller than it should be. A new version with more clearance between the handle and bottle is available for those with larger fingers. Please leave comments after printing to share your thoughts. The handle prints in two parts, and I recommend using a Makerbot Replicator 2X with a 110° plate and 235° extruder temperature. To ensure correct sizing, scale the model to 1015% when importing, as it was initially exported in centimeters. Print the text 6mm from the bed for optimal height. Enjoy your new handle version (L-Handle) and Standard Text STL file compatibility.
