Construct your bucky ball using minimal components, with just the first two pieces required; however, additional solid parts or window-like elements can be added for customization. Assemble and adhere them together using superglue. To achieve maximum size upon printing, prepare for a sizable ball to result. Note that each hexagon in your structure connects with three other hexagons and three pentagons. The second edges on the hexagon are angled differently. A small hexagonal image is printed near one edge of each hexagon, which serves as the gluing point to another piece; every second edge links to a pentagon instead.
