Bucky Peanut / Turtle Boat The local science center (TSC) is looking for some unique boats to add to its river model display. I decided to take it up a notch by incorporating Bucky ball features into my boat design. The result was a pretty shape that kids just love, earning it nicknames like "peanut" and "turtle." The triangular grooves are visible on both the inside and outside of the design. When glued together, two halves form a complete whole consisting of two interlocking spheres, one of which is flattened by 50% in one dimension. By default, the sphere has a diameter of 100 mm. Measuring 176 mm x 100 mm x 50 mm, it can easily be scaled down to 50-80% for a smaller version that's perfect for younger kids. #### Files Included Version A and B have some slight differences. Version A features a full circle for the sphere design.
