Buckle for backpack

When the plastic buckle on my daughter's backpack strap snapped, I swiftly grabbed a ruler, measured it with precision, and rapidly designed a replacement in Tinkercad. It was more of a pragmatic and expedient solution than an aesthetically pleasing one, but I completed it within 10 minutes and finished printing within 30 minutes. The snap went back into the backpack, and now it's good as new for school. The strap measures 1 inch wide or 25 mm in metric units. Machine and filament sourced from 3D printer manufacturer 3dprinter.no. This item was created with Tinkercad; edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/6ew154ZNS43 Print Settings Printer: Easy3D maker, 3DFactories Rafts: No support structure Resolution: Medium, .2 mm layer height Infill density: 100%, full interior Notes: I used PLA filament, enlarged the part for added strength. With a 100% infill setting, it appears sufficiently robust to withstand normal use. If any issues arise, I will update this report. The design underwent slicing in Simplify3d. Post-Printing Test Results Test Subject Description Design Methodology Used This project demanded swift execution; thus, my approach involved designing it as rapidly as possible and beginning printing before the household washing machine had finished its cycle.
