Bucket with zap strap/cable tie channels
thingiverse
I got a ton of use out of the originals but found that, over time, carrying heavy loads, the bucket wire would warp and curve causing the handle to pop off. I saw the other remakes but found I wanted something a bit more robust and easy to install. I have been using these in my business where we regularly have to carry loads of over 25 Kg in these pails, and this version has not popped off yet. INSTALLATION: I use the smallest type of nylon cable ties, they have a 0.94mm x 2.7mm cross section and slide easily into the three channels I cut into the original handle. The channels allow the lock block to slide in as well. I cut the tails away with a utility knife. Everything fits neatly in the channel.
