My design comprises four circular sectors, each containing four scoops. The drum employs a horizontal rotation mechanism. As it rotates, regolith flows through a spiral system, unable to escape until the drum reverses direction. Each scoop features serrations designed to break down large and hard rocks, while three spikes protrude from the surface in front of each scoop. These spikes serve as filters, preventing oversized rocks from becoming stuck. The drum's material is lightweight CFRP. In addition to the spiral storage system, this design offers several advantages, including multiple systems for triturating large rocks and filtering them. The scoops' openings are generously sized.
