The final design of the bucket features 9 scoops that make it highly efficient. Four buckets can be securely attached to the Robot (RASSOR) at any given time. The bucket's basic concept is straightforward - the spikes embedded within each scoop are designed to loosen soil/regolith, while longer spikes positioned along the bucket's frame will tackle tough soil/regolith. This allows for easy collection of soil/regolith by the scoops. The frame is crafted from high-strength titanium alloy, and the scoops are made from durable steel featuring robust spikes. Four scoops engage the ground simultaneously (one scoop per bucket), ensuring optimal performance. A small hole in the center of each bucket serves as a mounting point for the wheel. The brown color layer surrounding the bucket is polytetrafluoroethylene material, significantly reducing friction between the soil/regolith and the bucket. This enables smooth collection of soil without getting stuck. The bucket can be attached to the wheel, which features a semi-circle soil/regolith collector at its center. This collector rotates with the wheel, maintaining its horizontal orientation and parallel position relative to the floor throughout the process.
