The Drum weighs in at 4.9 kg. It's made with Carbon fiber on the inside and Aluminum 6061 for the rest. To see it in action, check out the 3D viewer here: https://autodesk.com/2yMnJil This design features a wide scoop that can close once you've taken the Regolith from the Moon's surface. This way, less soil gets lost when closing the scoop, which is especially important since it can be hard to get back what's been lost. The scoop has enough power to cut through the Regolith while scooping up what you need.
