This is my take on the Buck Rogers XZ-31 Rocket Gun, a replica of the iconic toy ray gun produced by Daisy in 1934. Based on the legendary "Buck Rogers" comic strip character's trusty sidearm, this 9 ½-inch model retails for 50 cents and boasts a stamped metal construction that's sure to turn heads. As the first of six Buck Rogers toy guns manufactured over two decades by Daisy Manufacturing Co., this replica is a must-have for any fan of science fiction or vintage collectibles. My 3D printable version features a spring trigger, but it's purely decorative - no popping sounds here! I've been obsessed with this ray gun since I was a kid in the 70's, when my friend received one as a birthday gift from his dad. Now, I'm thrilled to bring it to life and display it proudly once it's printed and painted.
