I've used the original mount with my A8 for quite some time now. As I'm upgrading it to the AM8 spec, I need a replacement that will securely attach to 2040 extrusion. The base has been thickened to 4 mm, ensuring that the M5x10 screws included in my AM8 kit don't experience any issues with clearance, and several holes have been strategically punched through for convenient mounting options.
