Buck Converter Mount for Ender 3 v2
thingiverse
This is an original object I created. I included 3 files: the top component, bottom component, and the combined unit. FOR ENDER 3 V2 ONLY - See the last image for the compatible hot end cover I had purchased some buck converters from amazon to allow me to use a 12 volt fan for the hot end (the stock fan is 24 volts). I was not content with the converter hanging loose / resting insecurely on top of the hot end chassis. This mount slides snug onto the hot end cover of the ENDER 3 V2. I added holes for screwing the converter pcb onto the mount, as well as holes that allow zip-ties to secure the mount to the hot end wiring. NOTE: Insert zip-ties BEFORE the converter is screwed in. _________________________________________________________________________ PART LIST & LINKS: Buck Converter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081N6WWJS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details 12 Volt 4010 Premium Quiet Noctua Fan: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NQLT0M?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details _________________________________________________________________________ PARTS TO SECURE THE CONVERTER PCB TO THE MOUNT: M2 M2.5 M3 Brass Threaded Insert Embedded Nuts Assortment Kit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GLJ7KCJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details M2 M2.5 M3 Hex Socket Head Cap Screws Assortment Kit: https://www.amazon.com/HVAZI-300pcs-Metric-Stainless-Assortment/dp/B06XKMHWGP/ref=sr_1_5
