<p>For those looking at powering hobby electronics or moding your printer to accept a 12-volt fan to replace a 24-volt fan ... you're likely going to use a buck converter, and you may well want to place that in housing to make sure you have no shorts (and to make sure that it does not get knocked around).</p><p>This housing for the LM2596 type converter features ;</p><p>-Top and bottom ventilation<br>-View of the direction-of-operation indicator<br>-Access to the potentiometer adjuster<br>-View of the operation-indication LED<br>-Access for +/- terminals at each end<br>-Side latches</p><p>See the video below for a mounting demo.
