Buck Converter Housing for CR-10s Pro Fan Mods
thingiverse
I designed a small housing to shield the buck converters needed when swapping out the CR-10s Pro's cooling and extruder cooling fans for Noctua or other 12v fans. The enclosure attaches to the back of the extruder motor, where the black plate is, using any kind of double-sided adhesive tape. Two 2x12mm M3 screws will secure the cover to the plate that holds the buck converters flush against it. To allow the converters to sit flush, I soldered their leads from above, not below, so there's minimal solder or wire protruding from the bottom four corners of the converter.
