Buck Converter Case

Buck Converter Case

prusaprinters

Designed to hold a buck converter with an integrated display. These are the ones I used.

Its primary purpose is to protect from shorts on the back, and I was worried about heat, so there is no lid. There are cutouts for wires on either side, they'll need to be attached once the converter is installed into the case (with 4x M3 bolts).

The bottom has 4 pockets for M3 nuts. They're supposed to be a bit of a snug fit, some light persuasion was required with a rubber mallet for mine, but they are not so tight as to harm the case when you're installing them.

Recommended print settings:

0.16mm layer height

5 perimeters (prevents infill in the walls)

15% infill

5-7 top and bottom layers
