Buck_converter_box_with_lid(for RaspberryPi)
cults3d
For my Anet A8 plus and standard A8, I required a buck converter. I connected it directly to the PSU output and adjusted it for 24 or 12 volts from that source, converting it into the 5V needed for the Pi. These converters can supply up to 3 amps at maximum, which is more than enough power for the Pi's 2.5 amp requirement. To keep them cool, I placed the supply and Pi away from the printer.
