Buck Converter Box
prusaprinters

I installed a buck converter to power some 12V LEDs from a 24V power supply. I created this box using Thing referenced as a source, and used TinkerCad to create holes in each end of the box. The box is large enough to hold the buck converter on this mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1160062

I printed the box in black PETG and printed the cover both in black PETG and later in translucent PETG. I printed the clear cover at 98% size. I did need to use my deburring tool to trim the sides to get it to fit properly. Perhaps shrinking the cover even more would create a better fit.

Print instructions

Licence: Creative Commons - Attribution Category: Electronics Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: [i3 MK3]

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.20mm

Infill: 15%

Filament: Inland and MakerGeeks PETG Black and Translucent
