This intricately detailed Buccaneer 18 racing sailboat model features running rigging, accessories, rails, and animateable rigging. It comes with a jib and main sail but not the spinnaker sale or pole; it does, however, have the molded spinnaker chute. Originally designed by Douglas MacAlpine and manufactured by Chrysler in the '70s, Buccaneer 18 gained popularity, leading to a class organization. AMF built the boat in the '80s but faced quality issues; Cardinal Yachts later improved it, reducing weight to 480 pounds from almost 600 pounds by AMF.
