Bubbler for etching tank
thingiverse
I've been watching a fascinating video on YouTube - https://youtu.be/Fn9rDmVnshc. They're etching with ferric chloride, but they take it to the next level by bubbling air through the solution. I'm impressed that a regular air stone does the trick, so I started thinking, why not create a custom 3D-printed bubbler? After all, a homemade solution could be just as effective. I decided to give it a try and designed a 3D-printed air stone that would bubble away in my etching solution. My first print wasn't perfect, but to my surprise, the end result worked beautifully. With some tweaks to the filament and printer settings, I'm confident that this DIY bubbler will perform even better. In fact, it should be able to handle a 5.5mm air hose connector with ease.
